Hotels

We specialise in sales and acquisitions of prime London and nationwide hotels, and on the transfer of associated corporate bodies and businesses. We work with developers and operators on hotel takeovers and contractor issues, advise on hotel bar and restaurant licensing, health and safety, and fire risk and asbestos assessments. We work with our corporate and commercial departments in relation to joint ventures with hotels and their groups. Funding plays a major role in any hotel deal in addition to the keen competitive demand for quality London hotels requiring speed linked with commercially focused due diligence.

Offices

We advise on sales and acquisitions of offices throughout the UK whether as freehold investments, or negotiating and granting long leases. We deal with office lettings, representing both landlords and tenants, and undertake portfolio management work including licences to alter, assign or sublet, as well as due diligence on acquisitions and leases.

Retail/shopping centres

We advise on sales and acquisitions of single retail units and entire shopping centres across the UK, including arcades, shopping malls and individual retail outlets. We undertake lease management work including licences to alter, assign or sublet, as well as due diligence on acquisitions and leases.

Business parks and industrial estates

We advise on sales and acquisitions of individual and multiple units, representing both landlords and tenants, on airport developments – both airside and landside, and on tax efficient pension fund structures. We undertake lease management work including licences to alter, assign or sublet, as well as due diligence on acquisitions and leases. We believe in a proactive approach to site management on portfolios and stand alone units, and encourage attending site visits, walking boundaries, and meeting managing agents.

Investment and portfolio management

We provide experienced portfolio management for UK property owners and landlords (offshore trust companies, pension funds, family trusts, corporate entities and individuals ). We advise on sales, acquisitions, maintenance, legal documentation, accounting and tax, staff management, registered office. We provide UK legal assistance, and advise on development site acquisition and assembly, due diligence, overage agreements, s106 obligations, single to multi-plot estate developments and sales management.
